The Brinkworth with Grittenham Neighbourhood Plan will now form part of the development plan for Wiltshire following a successful referendum held on 17th July 2025.
Master Land & Planning Ltd were instructed by the Parish Council in summer 2023 to undertake a ‘Health Check’ of their draft neighbourhood plan. This led to several recommendations and MLP were appointed to prepare the Draft Plan for the Regulation 14 consultation and thereafter for the Regulation 15 Submission to Wiltshire Council. Support continued to the Parish Council through the Examination process with assistance in responding to the Examiner’s questions.
The declared result was 160 votes in favour and 23 against the question “Do you want Wiltshire Council to use the Neighbourhood Development Plan for Brinkworth and Grittenham to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”
