A Full Planning Application has been submitted to Test Valley Borough Council by Foreman Homes for the erection of 16no. dwellings with parking, access, open space, landscaping, and design.
The site is part of a draft housing allocation in the Test Valley Local Plan Regulation 18 stage 2 and is suitable for development in the short term.
The proposal has been designed following a detailed understanding of the site’s opportunities and constraints, informed by a comprehensive suite of supporting technical reports. The scheme responds positively to the site and the surroundings and in line with the initial Pre-Application advice received.
While the application site lies outside the designated settlement boundary, it forms a draft allocation and the Council cannot demonstrate a 5 year housing land supply. The scheme will therefore deliver much-needed high-quality homes on an available, suitable and deliverable site.
The scheme will offer social, economic, and environmental benefits including job creation, local expenditure, community vitality, affordable housing, and biodiversity enhancements.
We look forward to working with the local planning authority, stakeholders and the project team to bring forwards this site with planning permission at the earliest opportunity.
