Master Land & Planning have secured a Permitted Development Class MA prior approval at appeal following the refusal by Gloucester City Council.

The Council refused the application as it considered that insufficient information was provided to establish whether the development complies with the condition on highway impacts. The absence of any objection from the local highway authority and the facts that the building was already in office use clearly demonstrated there were no such impacts.

The second part of the Council’s refusal related to insufficient information as the plans and drawings were not annotated with dimensions. Nonetheless, the Inspector agreed that the scaled drawings were sufficient in enabling judgement to be made, including compliance with space standards.

The appeal was allowed and a copy of the decision is below.
