
MLP was established in 2021 by Jamie Ward, an experienced housing developer and main contractor. MLP was created to focus on land promotions and land acquisitions, specialising in the promotion of residential led sites, both greenfield and brownfield. Jamie’s experience as a developer, specifically planning, cost management and project profitability, allows MLP to deliver a consent to the Landowner that maximises the land value.

Town Planning functions are led by Aaron Smith, an experienced Chartered Town Planner with a background in evaluating alternative use potential and auditing estate portfolios for uplift opportunities, successful local plan representations and appearances at examination hearing sessions. Aaron has 20 years experience with an excellent practical local knowledge of planning in southern England and strong relationships with Officers.

Hollie Sturgess BA(Hons) MSc MRTPI
Senior Planner – Chartered Town Planner
Hollie is a Senior Town Planner with a background in working on a wide range of residential schemes across southern England. She has supported neighbourhood planning groups with two made plans to date. Hollie joins MLP with recent experience of working in a local planning authority planning policy team and the preparation of evidence to support an emerging plan.

Henrietta started off in Architecture and progressed into planning which has meant working on various projects where there is a mixture of detailed Design & Access Statements and final drawings, as well as supporting written documentations for planning applications. She has recently been promoted to Planner, and assists with the preparation of various planning documents, background research for projects, and assisting in Neighbourhood Plan preparation.

Callan joined MLP in 2025 with significant experience in planning consultancy and local authority positions, submitting and determining planning applications at a range of scales and complexities, as well as handling planning appeals proceeding by written representations as well as hearings.
