The Regulation 14 Pre-submission Consultation has commenced today (10th July) on the draft Steeple Ashton Neighbourhood Plan.
Master Land and Planning have been working with Steeple Ashton Parish Council and the Steering Group since the end of 2022 as lead consultants in the preparation of their plan. Over that time, we have worked closely with the Steering Group to develop the evidence base and draft the policies, in line with the community priorities determined by multiple stages of public consultation.
The draft Plan contains 25 policies covering matters on the natural environment, climate change, community facilities, heritage, design and infrastructure. The plan also proposed to allocate four sites for housing development to meet (and exceed) the community’s housing requirement.
The consultation is the first opportunity the community have to read and comment on the full draft of the plan, and runs until 4th September 2025. Following this, MLP will work with the Steering Group to make any necessary amendments prior to the plans submission to Wiltshire Council.
