We’re pleased to secure planning permission for the ongoing use of a former stables in West Berkshire as a commercial office.
The building had previously been permitted for use tied to the adjacent dwelling, however now severing that tie will allow the thriving company that uses the office to continue to operate from the rural premises regardless of whether the future residents of the dwelling have any relationship with the premises.
While the office is of a small scale, the rural employment opportunity is very important to the staff, and West Berkshire’s decision recognises the contribution that the office makes to the local economy.
The planning permission will enable the long term retention of this business and of the premises for employment use in a generally underserved location.
