The Steeple Ashton Neighbourhood Plan has been made as part of the development plan for Wiltshire following a successful referendum.
Master Land & Planning were engaged by Steeple Ashton Parish Council to provide consultancy support for the preparation of their neighbourhood plan. Following the launch of the neighbourhood plan in December 2024, our input included assisting with public consultation, preparing technical and evidence reports, and writing the draft plan.
The referendum result was declared on 24 September 2026 with 185 votes answering ‘Yes’ and 40 answering ‘No’ to the question:
Do you want Wiltshire Council to use the Neighbourhood Development Plan for Steeple Ashton to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?
The neighbourhood plan will now be used to help decide planning applications.
