Master Land & Planning Ltd have secured planning permission from Test Valley Borough Council to remove an agricultural occupancy condition from a former farmhouse.
The former farmhouse was built in the 1960s and recently fallen into disrepair. The remainder of the farm has separately received planning permission for a conversion to residential.
With planning permission required to remove the occupancy condition, compliance with Policy COM10 was required. The client instructed Fox Grant to market the property for a period of 6-months through a variety of sources. Of those who enquired, the only person with an interest withdrew following further investigation. Despite efforts we were able to demonstrate that there is no need to retain this particular dwelling with an agricultural occupancy condition. Planning permission was granted.
